Sweet Jesus. This week has been a scorcher, especially when you are sweltering in a house with no air conditioning! Growing up sans a/c I usually adapt to the sweaty legs + boobs problemo, but not this week. Although the heat has been horrid, Sundeep and I have been taking a great liking to Hotel Malladi on Lakeshore, it comes with ice cream treats and very sweet sister-in-laws..

While we’re on the topic of a/c.. as of August 13th, Sundeep and I will embrace as much humidity and sweaty boobs as possible, because we found ourselves new digs, WITH AIR! Shocked? http://mmalladi.tumblr.com/day/2011/01/04

Our new place we promise we will stay in for at least two WHOLE years. I almost wish the lease would commit us to two years so the thought of even leaving would never cross our minds. Our new pad is lofty and fabulously air conditioned, I can not wait. AND the best part about this move, we are literally moving with our clothes and a few other items — everything else we are passing down to younger siblings, and busting out all of our new wedding registry gear.. and upgrading from maybe IKEA, we’ll see though..I LOVE IKEA and Sundeep can build it so fast! furniture to maybe a little more solid, more permanent furniture.
