— India doesn’t smell like Sundeep told me it does. It smells, but doesn’t really smell. Significant scent, not entirely bad. Unless you are in an alley near a trash can where cows are grazing right now, which I am.
— Everyone, everyone wants to feed you. All of the time. It’s one of the most exhausting things in the world....

Currently our bedroom has two nightstands, which are bulky, really heavy and do not fit into the new dig.

Design: Master Bedroom
First things first: we already received this bedding from our wedding registry at Macy’s = foundation for bedroom created. Unsure how much I love it now..it’s hard to build color off of this patterned combo. The dressers are on our “must have” list. Sundeep has been working with a plastic crate for 5 years, and I have been running with my IKEA 4 drawer dresser for 3....

Summer in the City
Sweet Jesus. This week has been a scorcher, especially when you are sweltering in a house with no air conditioning! Growing up sans a/c I usually adapt to the sweaty legs + boobs problemo, but not this week. A few things have changed since the last post — I got a husband, went on an amazing vacation, have little to no planning currently and had the best party ever.
June 18th — was such a special day. It was everything + more than we had expected. For having 2 ceremonies in 4 hours, with no wedding coordinator, I think it went absolutely smoothly.

Today: the Ash Wednesday of our nuptials.
Last night bonding over the campfire at my brother’s house, I exclaimed “only 40 more days until the wedding!” to which my mom said “just like Lent!” Yes, today is like the Ash Wednesday to my wedding. Follow-up post: Perusing through my google reader, I stumbled upon this sweet, sweet couple and their adorable babe. Like most posts, I think I can attest for myself and others I check out the pictures with very minimal reading. A reader’s comment just caught my eye, so I went back to read the whole story only to find out their adorable daughter passed away a weeks after their wedding.
